Project Spotlight: Rise Up Foundation's Vibrant New Lobby Display
When organizations dedicate themselves to making a difference in their communities, we are especially honored to help bring their vision to life.
Recently, Landmark Signs had the opportunity to work with the Rise Up Foundation, a nonprofit organization founded by author Alane Adams that strives to improve the lives of children and families living in poverty and difficult circumstances through literacy projects, book donations, classroom support, and grants.
The Foundation came to us with a unique request. They already had artwork they loved and wanted professionally recreated as a dimensional interior display that would make a strong visual statement within their space.
But there was another important consideration.
The display would also need to be movable for future film production projects, allowing it to be relocated when needed while maintaining the same professional appearance.
Turning a Vision Into Reality
Like many projects, the first step was determining the best size, materials, and production method to achieve the desired look while staying within budget.
Through our Sign Design & Estimate Service, our team quickly evaluated the project requirements and developed custom design options that would provide the greatest impact. Once the direction was finalized, the design investment was credited toward the production of the sign.
After reviewing multiple concepts, the Rise Up Foundation selected a full-color dimensional acrylic display featuring their vibrant artwork and branding.
The result would be a colorful, eye-catching centerpiece designed to welcome visitors while celebrating the Foundation's mission.
A Custom Solution for Flexibility
One aspect that made this project particularly interesting was the need for flexibility.
Because the Foundation anticipated using the display in future filming projects, they wanted the ability to relocate it to another area when necessary.
To accommodate this request, Landmark Signs incorporated a mounting solution that allows the display to be moved between designated locations. Additional standoff mounting points were installed, and our team provided guidance on how the sign could be safely relocated when needed.
This approach gave the client the best of both worlds: a permanent-looking dimensional display with the flexibility to adapt to future needs.
Meeting a Tight Deadline
The timeline was another important factor.
The Foundation needed the project completed in less than a month, requiring quick coordination between design, production, and installation.
Thanks to responsive communication from the Rise Up Foundation and the dedication of our team, we were able to move efficiently through each phase of the project and deliver the finished display on schedule.
